Sayangnya, ada sedikit berita kurang sedap yang menerpa Kawasaki KLX110 ini. Disebabkan permasalahan tangki bocor, sebanyak 10 ribu unit varian motorcross ini tipe KLX110 dan KLX110L, terpaksa ditarik dari pasar Amerika Serikat.
